Earlier this year my son’s (now former) high school played for the California DII State Basketball Championship, and today the school will be playing for the California DII State Football Championship. Although Rocklin will most likely lose*, again, they have much to be proud of regarding their sports programs. Go Rocklin!
*In the State Championships the southern teams tend to win these state-wide battles. The team Rocklin will be playing, Servite of Anaheim, is ranked #2 nationally. In addition, Rocklin lost their starting quarterback in their victory last week.
UPDATE: Rocklin lost on a last second field goal, 33-30. Not bad, not bad at all.
